Who embodies death more than serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer? Also called the Milwaukee Cannibal, one of the most famed serial killers of all time (a dubious honor) hideously raped, murdered and dismembered 17 men and boys during his reign of terror. Not even particularly popular in prison in Wisconsin, Dahmer was murdered himself, in the big house, in 1960.
Also passing on November 28 in history were the great actress Rosalind Russell, who starred in The Women and Mame, among other cinematic greats (died 1976 of cancer, age 68), and classic American author Washington Irving in 1876 – he wrote The Legend of Sleepy Hollow.
